I sometimes ask myself whether I could expect a wider audience for my blog posts, considering the limits set by such a niche subject as marketing companies. Though, each time I look through my past 60 posts, I see that we have talked about many issues outside the main topic, even if we made a connection to it, in the end. This is also why I call the posts ‘reflections’. I thank you all for reading them.
As companies have to grow to be able to sustain their existance, I believe that writers (though I couldn’t label myself as one) have to increase their number of readers to ascertain their function. Currently my blog has more than 2000 readers every Thursday. My aim is to reach 5000 readers by the end of 2011.
Considering that YOU are making it possible for this blog to live on, I decided to ask for your help. Since we are not far away from entering 2011, I thought that if you enjoy giving presents or wishing people a happy new year and you find my weekly posts worth reading, you might also consider giving out subscriptions to my blog, as a New Year’s gift or good wishes. To be completely honest, I have never tried putting into practice such an idea before and I will definitely share the end results with you.
It is very easy. All you need to do is click on this link, get to my New Year’s subscription page and enter the email of the person(s) that you would want to read my blog posts. The first blog post to be sent on January 6th 2011, to your friend, relative, business partner or acquaintance, will start with:
“This blog subscription has been sent to you by someone you know wishing you a great 2011. If you want to unsubscribe you can use the ’Unsubscribe’ link on this post without your friend knowing it “.
Of course you can send this present to as many people as you like. Should you want your name mentioned too, simply fill in respective box shown on the blog’s New Year’s subscription page with your name. In that case the word ‘someone you know’ in the above message will be replaced with your name. It goes without saying that the emails you’ll be providing will only be used for this purpose.
Since this will be for sure your New Year’s present to me, I would like to thank you all, in advance.
May the reality of 2011 surpass your expectations…
