A Swiss watch with renewable energy source

As I was clearing some of my old stuff I hit on a box full of old watches, mainly inherited from my family. One of them got my attention and I took it to a repair shop.

“It is functioning,” the shop owner said. “We just have to change its glass and band. It is a Swiss made watch produced in the beginning of the 1940s. Although it has a crown to wind it up, the energy produced by moving your arm is enough to keep it running.”

I‘ve another box containing short lived digital watches, which had to be energized either by batteries or a charging system. My “new” watch from the 1940s does not need any of that. It only needs a functioning me. ☺

If you are on the road to finding a partner for your business you will be explaining your processes to your potential partner. Even if they are the most modern company working with the “best” consultants and systems available, still some of your processes might be much better functioning than theirs.

Being big or having power doesn’t mean things are always done the best way. ☺
