On March 30, 2019, the news channels reported that the American actor, director and producer Nicolas Cage has filed for an annulment just 4 days after getting married for the 4th time. It seems, they could tolerate each other only for 4 days.
I don’t know what should be done to prevent such “to be short lived” marriages.
Although it is not exactly the same as in social marriages, it happens also quite often in newly founded partnerships whereby the merged partners ask for annulation maybe not in 4 days but in 4 months or 4 years.
In case of mergers it is advisable that both potential business partners should take time to know each other’s company cultures beyond their products and services and learn how to solve problems in a collaborative way. Only then can they develop an understanding on being tolerant to each other.
