“You put your arms around me”

I never thought that you would be the one to hold my heart / But you came around and you knocked me off the ground from the start / You put your arms around me / And I believe that it’s easier for you to let me go / You put your arms around me and I’m home

The lines above are from the beginning of Christina Perri’s song called Arms. These lines metaphorically reflect the feelings of a lot of our clients during the process of seeking a partner.

As we start the process our clients might have some companies in mind that they believe would like to acquire their business. Considering our statistics these assumptions are generally not true. Furthermore, we see that companies, previously unknown to our client, show interest in the transaction. Such potential acquirers might initially create question marks in our clients, but then during the process they might even be seen as saviours.

The pictures which do not fit in with the knowledge we have gathered through our experiences in life cause us to question them. However, thinking in detail on the issue and planning with the other party the common actions in the future ensure that the parties get closer to each other. After a period of time this cooperation becomes a part of the experience of the parties and the question marks are cleared. Trust is built.
