I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand
These lines are from Sting’s song, Desert Rose.
If Jalaluddin Rumi could hear these lines, then most probably he would have responded with the following lines of his poem, O World of Water and Clay:
No, be silent, depart into nonexistence, become naught in nonexistence; behold, how I know things from no-things!
Rain… Desert Sand… Time… Love…
With my wish that you will have a lot of dreams in 2013 to create Things from all that seems to be No-things…
