“You have a reservation?”

All of us must have experienced it sometime in our lives. In a restaurant where we go without making a reservation all tables are occupied but a table will become free in a couple of minutes. In such a case, the location of the table within the restaurant is of no importance to us. We are very happy to have found a place. On the other hand, when we enter an almost empty restaurant, we spend some time to choose the best table to our liking among the available ones.

We  are ready to accept any condition put on us to get something scarce but once we have the freedom of choice, then we act according to our criteria of happiness.

Company marriages are similar. If there are many potential acquirers for the company shares, then the shareholders of that company are in a position to choose the acquirer to their liking. That is why we try to find more than one prospect for each of our projects.

If you are contacted by only one company to buy your shares, then you can sell your shares to this company only if you act according to their criteria of happiness.
